First Wednesday Film Club at Classic Cinemas

on

Classic Cinemas is introducing their First Wednesday Film Club, which will feature Art, Foreign, Classic, and Documentary films.  The first in the series – Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Film, “The Salesman” – opens April 5th.   More information at ClassicCinemas.com.

It’s really exciting to see Classic Cinemas bringing these first-rate films that are hard to find in “standard” movie theaters to our community.  We need to thank them by going to the movies on Wednesdays!

  1. Thank you for posting information about the First Wednesday Film Club! I plan to check it out. I’d like to pass on some information that you may find of interest. The Middendorf-Kredell Library on Highway N is starting a Classic Film Series. Our first film is the 1937 comedy “Stage Door” starring Katharine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball, Eve Arden and Ann Miller. It will be shown on Friday May 19th at 1:00pm in our library meeting room which can hold about 50 people. To register for this FREE film or for more information please call (636) 978-7997 or visit the St. Charles City-County Library website at Youranswerplace.org. Thank You for supporting the Arts and our Community!

    1. SCAC says:

Hi Mr. Cranford. I’m SO sorry it’s taken so long for us to get back to you. We appreciate your information, but the SCAC is located in St. Charles, Illinois. Although we get stuff from the St. Charles Missouri area on a pretty regular basis. We even had a middle school student from the area who entered artwork into our Student Art Show. It was really awesome, and we purchased it for our collection!
