Oversee the overall management, administration and operations of the Council
Monitor and maintain all financial and legal documents
Assist with long and short term planning
Assist with grant writing
Assist with the Membership and Sponsorship Programs
EVENTS & FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Responsible for planning and executing special events and programs, such as annual fund raising events
Events and programs shall create awareness, as well as help bring revenue to the SCAC
Sub-committees dedicated to specific projects will be organized and structured by (and will report to) the Events & Fundraising Committee and the Board of Directors. This committee shall have as many sub-committees as necessary to carry on its mission of planning, organizing and promoting arts, cultural and fundraising events.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH & EDUCATION COMMITTEE
Recruitment and retention of volunteers
Build relationships and collaborate with other arts organizations and businesses
Speak to local groups and organizations about the mission, goals and activities of the Council
ARTIST SUPPORT & RESOURCES COMMITTEE
Build and maintain relationships with Artists
Create and maintain a solid and accurate database of Artists, including visual arts, performing arts, music, and all other art forms
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
Assist in creating and maintaining the media image for the Council (i.e., website, newsletter, social media, press releases, publications, etc.) and the content presented in these media, as needed
Assist in the communication of the work of other local arts organizations and businesses, artists, and the community, in promoting other arts events
