ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE

• Oversee the overall management, administration and operations of the Council
• Monitor and maintain all financial and legal documents
• Assist with long and short term planning
• Assist with grant writing
• Assist with the Membership and Sponsorship Programs

 
EVENTS & FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE 

• Responsible for planning and executing special events and programs, such as annual fund raising events
  • Events and programs shall create awareness, as well as help bring revenue to the SCAC
  • Sub-committees dedicated to specific projects will be organized and structured by (and will report to) the Events & Fundraising Committee and the Board of Directors. This committee shall have as many sub-committees as necessary to carry on its mission of planning, organizing and promoting arts, cultural and fundraising events.

 
COMMUNITY OUTREACH & EDUCATION COMMITTEE

• Recruitment and retention of volunteers
• Build relationships and collaborate with other arts organizations and businesses
• Speak to local groups and organizations about the mission, goals and activities of the Council

 
ARTIST SUPPORT & RESOURCES COMMITTEE 

• Build and maintain relationships with Artists
• Create and maintain a solid and accurate database of Artists, including visual arts, performing arts, music, and all other art forms

 
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

• Assist in creating and maintaining the media image for the Council (i.e., website, newsletter, social media, press releases, publications, etc.) and the content presented in these media, as needed
• Assist in the communication of the work of other local arts organizations and businesses, artists, and the community, in promoting other arts events
