  • Kate Weinstein is a collection management and arts administration veteran with over fifteen years of experience assisting museums and organizations with their art collections. Since 2022, Kate has been the collection manager for the Arts of the Americas department at the Art Institute of Chicago. Prior to that, she worked as the Collections Manager and Registrar for the Carl & Marilynn Thoma Foundation. Her major areas of interest include

  • Have you ever wondered how museum donations and loans work? This talk will explain the museum donation process, what museums look for in donors and artwork, and how they research objects for their provenance.
