Unleash your creativity with Jenn Katsenios of Whimsical Chaos! Perfect for ages 10-17, this beginner-friendly workshop teaches the art of sculptural needle felting. You'll master the tools, learn essential stabbing and shaping techniques, and craft your own vibrant 2D butterfly to take home. Safety first, fun always!

What to Expect:

Tool School: An introduction to felting tools, a thorough safety review (those needles are sharp!), and tips for shaping your butterfly.

Technique Training: Learn how to safely and securely attach colorful wool using basic stabbing techniques.

Finishing Touches: Add intricate details and learn the best methods for smoothing your final masterpiece.

Join Sharon Powers in learning to create a favorite accent for any event, a stunning flower crown. 

Inspired by Frida Kahlo love of representing the natural beauty of Mexico in her work and accenting her many self-portraits with a flower crown. 

What to expect:

Come learn the basics of flower crown making. All materials will be provided, if you have any LARGE, beautiful blooms growing in your garden please feel free to bring them to accent your flower crown.

Looking for a chance to hone your figure drawing skills? Bring your supplies and join us at the gallery for this uninstructed class to draw or paint our live models. (Models will be nude unless otherwise noted.) We don’t supply easels, but you are welcome to bring your own if you want to use one. All skill levels are welcome.
