Meet your Teacher

Tessa Koller is a native of St. Charles, Illinois, born and raised. Since she was a child, she had been drawing and painting everything she saw. Throughout her educational years, she pursued drawing, painting, photography, and writing. In 2008, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and has since been published in countless magazines, journals, and other health and wellness publications. An advocate for those living with the rare genetic syndrome, 22Q11.2 Deletion Syndrome, Tessa has traveled to dozens of countries and delivered keynote speeches. She shares her inspiring story of overcoming adversity through her passion for art.

With expertise in a wide variety of mediums from colored pencil to watercolor, she is a master of multiple crafts. Tessa is considered multifaceted with a broad range of creative skills. This drawing class will be for beginners and provide instruction on the fundamentals of drawing in black and white (graphite). In the four-week session, beginners will learn the simplest ways to draw one of two subject matters.
